Manifold Press, publisher of several fine gay romance titles, is interested in reading proposals for short stories having anything to do with the Olympic or Paralympic games. The stories can take part in the past, present or future and can be about the participants of all sports, the spectators, the people working in the background as volunteers, reporters, or anyone you can think of. The story can have explicit content, or not at all. However, since Manifold Press only publishes books about gay fiction, the stories must be about m/m or f/f situations in one way or the other.
Also the stories should be no longer than 12,000 to 15,000 words.
There’s no guarantee your story will be published, but if you have a serious proposal for a relevant story, it might be worth taking a look at the prospectus for authors page to get a general impression of what Manifold is looking for.
